Pinewood Derby

Nate had his first pinewood derby last night. He was so excited, and he did really well.

Nate has been waiting for this since Corbin started scouts 6 years ago!

And I have to say that this is our best car yet, practice makes perfect!

Good job Nate and Phil on a terrific car!

Here is Noah, Nate and Kaden

Instead of racing on a track they had different skills for each car.
This was one where you try to get your car to land on the highest number.
The boys got to practice twice and then they got three tries.
Nate did so well on the practices that his car and arm was really tired for the real thing and ended up not hitting the mat.
Oh well he had fun anyway.

This was a giant maze with Popsicle sticks, the kids had a blast with this one.

Here is Nates car getting ready to see how fast it can go!

Good times at the Pinewood Derby, the leaders did a great job setting this up and the Scouts and siblings had a blast!
